Please take note, the Mechanicville Housing Authority’s Housing Choice Voucher Program, commonly referred to as Section 8, which allows tenants to receive rental assistance in the private rental market will not accept applications from potential recipients due to limited funding effective February 25, 2025.
The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development recommends that local housing agencies stop accepting applications when insufficient funds are available to assist all applicants on the waiting list over a reasonable period of time.
The Mechanicville Housing Authority will announce when it will resume accepting applications.
